Nestled in the serene surroundings of Samuh, Ganesh Lodge exceeded my expectations as a wildlife conservationist seeking a tranquil escape. The harmonious blend of antique Balinese decor and modern amenities created a warm, inviting atmosphere, while the lush gardens and free-form outdoor pool offered a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. Each day began with a delightful breakfast that featured an array of options, allowing my companions and me to indulge in both local specialties and international favorites. The attentive staff added a personal touch to our stay, ensuring we felt welcomed and cared for, reminiscent of the hospitality I cherish in my homeland of Kenya. Although I typically immerse myself in the vibrant wildlife during my travels, I found myself drawn to the exquisite culinary offerings at the lodge's restaurant, particularly the fresh seafood and vegetarian dishes. Ganesh Lodge is truly a gem for those who appreciate relaxation and exquisite cuisine in a beautiful setting-an ideal retreat before heading back to the bustling wildlife of East Africa!
